3 Secrets of the Shibuya District | Unisex Effortless Comfort Tee

Story

Since around 1990 to today, I’ve been Tokyo’s enduring visual elements so from 2025 spring I start to archive each visual elements of Tokyo. Those timeless scenes that continue to define the essence of this capital.

“3 Secrets of the Shibuya District” is a photo series of Shibuya capturing 3 of these elements from Shibuya:

1. SHIRO-KURO BUCHI NEKO *White cat with black spotted on street : Yin and yang, street and spirit, This cat knows what’s up. Intuitive, observant, feeling flow, walks the line where seen and unseen glow. 「見えるものと見えないものを行き来する、そのまなざしは人の本音を映し出す。二面性も矛盾も、そのまま抱きしめ、癒しの気配がそっと路地裏に現れる」
2. SAKURA *Cherry blossom : 9th Century noble poet “The color of the flowers has faded, alas, I have wasted my time gazing at them in vain. 「花の色は 移りにけりな いたづらに わが身世にふる ながめせしまに」
3. Platanus-Hispanica on Park Street : First did grace Japan in 19th year’s tide. Cools the heat where style & culture stride, Come fall it dons gold Shibuya’s shadow guide. 渋谷公園通りの「楓の木（かけのき）」日本に明治時代にきた樹木。夏場は公道の熱を下げ秋は紅葉に変わり、渋谷の文化をまとう者の背にいる影武者。
